All are invited! We’ll kick things off with refreshments, followed by officer elections, and wrap up with some entertainment.

Join the Friends of the Library for their annual meeting, featuring a lively performance by the Sweet Potato Pie Kids band! Everyone is invited, come enjoy the music and discover what the Friends of the Library is all about.

6:30 PM – Enjoy light refreshments and shop our FOL Book Sale.
7:00 PM – A short business meeting will include officer elections and a presentation of this year’s Friends achievements.

The Sweet Potato Pie Kids is a band made up of YAM (Young Appalachian Musicians) students who perform to bring awareness and raise funds for the YAM program, a branch of POSAM (Preserving Our Southern Appalachian Music).

We can’t wait to see you there!

About the branch

The Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library is located in Easley, SC just off of Highway 123.  This location serves as the headquarters for the Pickens County Library System. The facility features the largest reservable meeting space within the library system as well as a conference room, several smaller study rooms, a historical room and archives lab.  Public computers and 24/7 wifi access are also available.
