This month we are watching Whisper of the Heart. Snacks are provided and cosplay is encouraged!

This animated film follows Shizuku, an inquisitive young girl and a voracious reader, who longs to be a writer when she grows up. One day she notices that all of her library books have previously been taken out by one Seiji Amasawa. Amid chasing after a large cat, befriending an eccentric antiques dealer and writing her first novel, Shizuku aims to find this mysterious boy who may well be her soul mate.

About the branch

The Sarlin Library is located in the heart of Liberty adjacent to Sarlin Park. This library is the home of the library system’s Seed Library and is the only library location currently providing walk-in Passport services. The facility has small study rooms and a meeting room available by reservation during library hours. Our wifi hotspot lending program is especially popular at this location. Don’t forget to ask about checking out equipment and games from their Library of Things. Public computers and 24/7 wifi access are also available.
