Settle in for chilling tales of Pickens County’s haunted past with a mix of suspense, history, and a hint of humor.

Step into the shadows of Pickens County’s past as local comedian Andrea Reeps from Alchemy Comedy Theater leads you through an afternoon filled with eerie legends and chilling tales from Upstate South Carolina’s haunted history.

From ghostly apparitions to unexplained happenings, Andrea weaves these dark stories together with her signature comedic style, striking the perfect balance of humor and suspense. Costumes are welcome — and maybe even encouraged — if you’re brave enough to join the frightful fun!  Best for ages 15 and up.

About the branch

The Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library is located in Easley, SC just off of Highway 123.  This location serves as the headquarters for the Pickens County Library System. The facility features the largest reservable meeting space within the library system as well as a conference room, several smaller study rooms, a historical room and archives lab.  Public computers and 24/7 wifi access are also available.
